Airfield

Kuhmo Airfield is located approximately five kilometres from the town centre. Its airfield code is EFKH. Aviation activities have taken place at the airfield since the 1960s, and it is home to the Kuhmo Aviation Club.

Services at the airfield

The airfield has an aircraft hangar and a heated clubhouse completed in 2021. The clubhouse has running water and Wi-Fi. For information about overnight stays, please contact the aviation club. A dry toilet is also available at the airfield.

The aviation club can provide information about transport and fuel arrangements. Restaurants and accommodation are available in Kuhmo town centre.
