Other Participatory Bodies

The City of Kuhmo has a Council for Older People and People with Disabilities, a Rural Affairs Advisory Council, a Youth Council, and the Children’s Parliament – Kuhmo. The City Board decides on their composition, appointment and operating conditions.

The Well-being Management Group, as well as the Preventive Substance Abuse Work Group and the Youth Guidance and Service Network, are appointed by the Well-being and Education Committee, which also decides on the conditions for their operation.
