Adapted Physical Activity

The City of Kuhmo’s adapted physical activity groups are intended for pensioners, people with long-term health conditions, unemployed residents, and those who want to adopt a more active lifestyle.

The participation fee for adapted physical activity groups is €36.25 per group per season.

Health-enhancing physical activity refers to any regular physical activity that has positive effects on health, well-being and functional ability. It does not require strenuous exercise or competitive sports. The key is to be physically active at a suitable level that supports overall health and well-being.
