City Board
The City Board is responsible for the City’s strategic management and works closely with stakeholders to achieve the City’s strategic objectives. The City Board is responsible for ensuring that the operational organisation has the conditions needed to work effectively, monitoring the results of its work, promoting the City’s development and safeguarding the City’s interests.
The City Board has a maximum of 9 members. The City Council elects the Chair and two Vice-Chairs of the City Board. Each member has a personal deputy member.
Persons other than City Council members and deputy councillors may also be elected as members or deputy members of the City Board. The City Board’s term of office is two years, from 1 June 2025 to 31 May 2027.
