Well-being and Education Committee

The areas of responsibility of the Well-being and Education Committee include early childhood education and care, education and youth services, the music institute, adult education centre, cultural, museum and library services, sports services, and school transport.

The Committee leads and develops cross-sectoral work to promote well-being and is responsible for organising preventive well-being services and activities based on the needs of residents.

The Committee decides on the allocation of grants included in the budget within its area of responsibility.
