Ice Arena

Kuhmo’s modern ice arena features LED lighting, a safety rink system, changing and shower facilities, and a skate sharpening service.

Paid open ice sessions, free public skating sessions and the weekly schedule are available on the Kiva HT website.

Evening sessions are mainly reserved for sports clubs. You can contact the ice arena directly to enquire about available ice times. Children under school age can enter free of charge. You can find the Ice Arena price list here.

Skating aids are available free of charge for children who are learning to skate.

During the winter season, the ice arena is well suited for tournaments and other ice events. In summer, it can also be used for fairs and exhibitions.
