Youth Services

In Kuhmo, Youth Services are part of the Growth and Learning Services. Youth work in Kuhmo includes general youth work, youth workshop activities, outreach youth work, and youth work carried out in schools and educational institutions.

At Kuhmo Youth Services, we work with genuine enthusiasm and strong professional expertise. Every young person is important to us, and we have time for each of them. Young people can come and talk to us about anything related to their lives. Together, we also look for opportunities to experience joy, achievement and success through different activities.

Youth Work

Youth Services provide activities and support for young people aged 7–29.

Special Youth Work and School Youth Work

Special youth work supports young people aged 7–18, both individually and in school groups. It supports young people’s growth, independence and sense of community, as well as their living and growing conditions.

Outreach Youth Work

Outreach youth work reaches out to young people aged 16–29 who need support. It provides direct assistance or helps young people find and access services that support their growth and independence.

Youth Workshop Activities – Ankkuri Coaching

Ankkuri provides a coaching, activity, work and learning environment for jobseekers under the age of 29. It offers meaningful activities, support with career planning and opportunities to gain work experience.
