Early childhood education
Early childhood education in Kuhmo is guided by Finland’s national legislation and guidelines for early childhood education, as well as Kuhmo’s local early childhood education plan. Our work is also shaped by values developed together with our staff: positivity, a sense of community, a calm and unhurried approach, and responsibility. All of our units are committed to using the Notice the Good! method, which focuses on recognising and strengthening children’s positive qualities. We regularly evaluate and develop our practices to ensure high-quality early childhood education.
