Meal Services

Vireko is a subsidiary owned by Attendo and has provided meal services for the City of Kuhmo since 1 February 2024.

Vireko’s chefs prepare meals for people of all ages in care and assisted living homes, hospitals, rehabilitation units, health and service centres, schools and day-care centres, as well as through home meal delivery services. Vireko plans its own menus and recipes and primarily uses Finnish ingredients in its meals.

Vireko works in partnership with wellbeing services counties and municipalities and aims to develop meal services together with its partners.

Cleaning Services

SOL Palvelut Oy – Clean and Responsible Services for Everyday Life in Kuhmo

SOL Palvelut Oy is a Finnish family-owned company providing a wide range of cleaning and facility services throughout Finland. The company has provided cleaning services for City of Kuhmo facilities and social and healthcare facilities since 1 February 2024.

In Kuhmo, SOL is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in facilities such as schools and day-care centres. These include Tuupala School, Satumetsä Day-Care Centre, Kuusenkuiske 24-Hour Day-Care Centre and Kuhmo Swimming Hall.

SOL aims to provide a safe, comfortable and healthy learning and growing environment for all children and young people.

Responsibility, customer focus and continuous staff development are at the core of SOL’s operations. The company continuously invests in service quality and staff training to provide its customers with the best possible service.
