Sports Centre
The Sports Centre has an outdoor multi-sport court suitable for activities such as floorball, basketball and handball. In winter, the court is used as an ice hockey rink.
Adult bookings for the athletics and football field cost €10 per session / half field. Regular time slots can be reserved for the summer season, and any remaining available slots can also be booked later.
Tennis and beach volleyball courts can be booked through the City of Kuhmo online shop. One court can be booked for a maximum of two hours at a time.
The Sports Centre area also includes:
- Ice hockey and skating rink in winter
- Floorball court
- Beach volleyball court
- Two tennis courts
- Three-hole disc golf course on easy terrain, suitable for all ages
- Unskin ura – a 5.5 km illuminated fitness trail, used for both classic and skate cross-country skiing in winter
- Gym located in the red building next to the tennis courts
Sports Centre Gym
The gym is free of charge.
The Sports Centre Gym is open without an electronic key Monday–Thursday from 7:00 to 15:00 and Friday from 7:00 to 13:30.
Outside these hours, access is available with an electronic key (€38.50), which can be purchased from:
- The City of Kuhmo online shop
- Kuhmo Town Hall information desk
- Kuhmo Swimming Pool
With an electronic key, you can enter the gym between 5:00 and 22:00. Please leave the building by 23:00.
